THE BLURB:
Imagine asking the subject to JUST THINK of one of the last
people she spoke to on the phone. Without having the subject
write anything down you begin describing what that person
looks like. You're able to guess the gender, the eye color,
the hair color and style. To close, without any fishing
you're able to pull that persons name right out of her mind.
But it doesn't stop there....
Next she imagines looking at the dial pad and touching any
of the digits on the phone. She then actually calls her
friend and asks her to do the same thing. The performer not
only is able to guess both numbers, but proves that they're
mysteriously connected.
But it doesn't stop there....
The performer now take his own phone, calls anyone from his
phone book and places this person on speaker phone while
it's still ringing. This person is asked to imagine dialing
two digits. The digits named are THE SAME digits named
moments before by the subjects!

Cellular Oracle also may work seamlessly with Docc Hilford's
Cellular Mitosis and other over-the-phone effects (Have you
read Heptagon yet?)
Cellular Oracle is a tool that can stand alone or be used to
enhance other routines you already perform.
This is a practical, real world routine that has been in my
impromptu and formal performances for over six years.
MY COMMENTS:
This is a pet routine of Patrick's that he's finally
offering to the public. It is certainly a very powerful
piece, but the modus operandi may not suit everyone's style.
It involves a bit of cold reading, cellphone technology, a
standard mentalist's gimmick, and a concept that is a
staples of many mentalists' work. I can't say anything more
except that one could say that there are similarities and
nods to Docc Hilford's brilliant Cellular Mitosis (which
Patrick strongly endorses and explains that this can be used
in conjunction with CM). I will also note that when the
blurb says it is "impromptu" there is still some set-up that
needs to be ready in order to do it "impromptu." (Again,
think along the lines of Cellular Mitosis.)
I will reiterate that I don't think this will suit
everyone's style, but that has nothing to with the quality
of thinking here. And, for the price, and being one of
Patrick's pet routines, this is indeed worth looking into.
If it does suit your style, and you perform this, you'll
probably feel that Patrick mistakenly undersold this and you
got an incredible bargain. Which would be true.
