THE BLURB:
The performer offers a demonstration of Human Energy. A bill
is borrowed, signed and placed on the table. Held at the
performer's fingertips, the bill starts to move. The
performer lets go of the bill and steps a few feet away… the
bill continues to move! Finally the performer gestures and
the bill falls over! This DVD goes over every detail you
will need to know to be doing this right away. Performance
notes and subtleties are included along with Andrew Gerard's
personal presentational ploys. Andrew Gerard has become
known as a creator of effects that connect with your
audience. Energy Bill has the potential to devastate even
the most hardened skeptic....

MY COMMENTS:
I've never been disappointed by Andrew Gerard's thinking,
but this effect, from the description alone, certainly seems
like it's a stretch and there's some sort of catch.  Let me
assure you, there isn't.  There's no catch.  This is
absolutely what the blurb claims.  It's a fabulous anytime,
anywhere PK effect with a bill that can be borrowed, signed,
and examined before and after the effect.  It uses no
threads, no magnets, no static, no blowing, and no extra
gimmicks or devices of any kind.

The only "catch," so to speak, is that you may not like how
the bill moves and may consider that the method would be
obvious.  And, admittedly, it is.  One side of the bill
curls or folds up and then it falls over.  It doesn't float,
nor does it glide a few inches over the table.  To me, this
is not an issue, because, in the presentation, Andrew
provides some easy subtleties to throw off laymen who might
think this is how it's done.  The final convincer is that
when the bill is handed back, the evidence is destroyed so
that the participant cannot reproduce the effect, unless
they know how to set up the bill.  There are also some
handlings that are done before the actual movement happens
that are designed to throw laymen off to this method.

As to the workings, it's not difficult to do, but it does
take some practice with a bill to get it down smoothly.
Andrew demonstrates and explains his presentation in detail
on this DVD, which runs approximately thirty minutes.
Because this is a gimmick-less, completely impromptu PK
effect, this should appeal to any who like doing this type
of effect and is highly recommended.
