MY COMMENTS:
This is an incredible resource of information on the subject
of performance hypnosis and a must-have for anyone who's
interested in the subject. My jaw was permanently dropped
while watching these discs and I'm still working out which
of these techniques I want to start learning and
incorporating. There's quite a lot here to learn and get
one excited about. I've only viewed the discs once and I
really wasn't watching to study, but only to review and I'm
looking forward to sitting down with them for some serious
study in the future.
The blurb is pretty thorough in its description and the only
information I feel that I can add is whether or not the
stuff is real. Anthony certainly performs it on the video
and it certainly doesn't look faked or staged. Since he's
been taking this info on the road in lectures around the
world, and I've heard no bad things about them, I can only
assume that the material within is genuine.
Some of the stunts, such as the magnetic finger experiment,
are staples of hypnotists, mentalists, and (*sigh*)
magicians, but Anthony goes into great depth about it, as
well as the more powerful demonstrations and techniques.
With that, I must note that the material in here can be
considered quite dangerous. It's always that when you're
dealing with the psychologicall manipulation of others'
minds. It's also dangerous because Anthony makes it look
very easy, but it's not. There are a lot of subtleties that
must not be overlooked when performing or the results could
be disastrous.
That said, this is an extremely important and must-have set
of discs for anyone who performs any type of hypnosis or who
is curious about the art.
