Paul Carnazzo
LEXICOLOGY
$24.95

THE BLURB:
Lexicology is the latest addition to wallet mentalism!

The card appears to be an authentic "Telepathy Testing Card"
from the National Institute of Parapsychology.

Perfect for anytime, walk around and close up mentalism!
This is a complete routine that fits neatly in your wallet!
Be ready to perform a complete routine with just one compact
card!

The card contains 41 words (all different), one to four
spectators think of a word on the card.

The card is displayed to the audience, and both sides are
shown to contain all different words.

The mentalist asks the 1st spectator to form a mental image
of their word.

The mentalist immediately reveals the image in the
spectator's mind!

The 2nd spectator is asked to think of a different word that
can be linked to his word - the performer immediately reveals
the newly thought of word!

The 3rd and 4th spectators are asked to concentrate on their
words and the mentalist reveals these words in a very direct
fashion!

The card can be used for one to four spectators at a time.
If using one spectator, he/she can select multiple words,
and the performer will correctly reveal the thought of
words.

Like the other cards, there are some additional effects on
the card.

The following is true about LEXICOLOGY:

- All of the words on the card are different
- No progressive anagrams
- Nothing written down
- No dual reality
- The card is un-gimmicked
- Completely fair selection process

Includes the double sided card and instruction manual.

MY COMMENTS:
This is the fourth wallet card that Paul Carnazzo has
produced following Test Conditions, Symbolism, and Animania.
This one concerns lists of words and comprises two phases.

Each phase involves divining up to 4 words, two words per
phase maximum, and involving up to four participants. One
of the phases uses a principle credited to Ned Rutledge. (It
was also controversially used by Bill Goldman in his Mental
Yarn.)

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the second phase without
revealing the modus, but it's another word list from which a
participant thinks of one and the performer reveals the
word.

Like the other cards, there are bonus effects on the card.
These are mostly basic psychological forces and are there
disguised as part of the card's design. You can use them or
not.

As with the other cards, the instructions are detailed (22
pages, 5.5" x 8.5" stapled) and the card (approx. 2 1/4" x 3
1/4") is well-made. If you are already using Paul
Carnazzo's other cards, you probably don't even have to read
this far. You've already ordered it. If not, this is a
nice card to have in your wallet for "impromptu" situations
and certainly recommended, if these tests sound like they
suit your style.
