The performer introduces four paintings by very famous
artists. A prediction that is entitled "The Masterpiece" is
also shown. The four paintings are placed in envelopes, then
mixed and the spectator is invited to choose one at random.
Once the selection is made, the chosen painting is removed
from the envelope and displayed. The moment for the
"Masterpiece" prediction is revealed and shown to match the
spectator�s freely chosen selection thus concluding that the
magician and the spectator have the same taste in art. This
is an easy to perform, elegant and classy mental magic
masterpiece!
This is the long awaited close up rendition of Tony's mental
magic masterpiece. Comes with a bonus set of cards that
allows for a completely different presentation without the
envelopes.
MY COMMENTS:
This is a fun piece of close-up mentalism. There's nothing
new here in terms of principles, but the props are well-made
and useful to the working mentalist. Being small
postcard-like replicas of famous art masterpieces make it
easy to justify having them.
The method Chris uses does not involve any type of verbal
manipulation. It's quite clean so far as the selection is
concerned. The envelope chosen is the one that matches the
selection. However, the props cannot be examined, though
with proper handling that shouldn't be necessary.
Everything will look clean. Chris does supply a second set
of cards so that you can use verbal manipulation, or you can
use other methods which Tony Chris explains on the
instructional DVD.
The package comes with all the cards and envelopes you need
to perform this as well as the instructional DVD.
