"[Rebecca's] material is engaging and personal to an audience, while remaining mysterious and realistic." Kenton Knepper "Becky Harris is one of a new breed of writer but with an extra warmth and above all a sense of fun." Jon Thompson "Mind Fluff is a great book full of ideas for close up and stage performances" Pablo Amir. MY COMMENTS: The amusing and self-deprecating title is certainly misleading. That's because the material in this 129 page downloadable PDF is no fluff, but some very entertaining material by Rebecca Harris. Those on the forums are familiar with her voice and now those who don't frequent the forums have an excellent opportunity to be familiar with her material. A few pieces are quite British (such as A-Z MEMORIZED) and non-U.K. performers may not be able to do these routines, but it is possible to adapt them. And most of the pieces are just plain fun, including the Captain Underpants routine, which is not as childish one might think. There are eleven routines in all that use a variety of principles and props. And some will be quite happy to know that there's not a single effect using playing cards (one uses ESP cards, though). My only quibble with this is that the performer is referred to as a magician, not a mentalist or, simply, a performer. Also, the first few pages of the book contain testimonials. Those testimonials should be for the ad copy (see above) not in the book itself which has already been purchased. But, as said, these are merely quibbles and do not affect the quality of the routines and ideas contained within. Definitely recommended. Here's the list of routines: A-Z Memorized The Amazing Mind Machine Marital Bliss Picture of the Ripper Smashed The Adventures of Captain Underpants Black on Black Q&A Revels Roulette Mentalopoly Double Headed Pen
