In this issue, Banachek discusses the importance of simple peek in general. And, specifically, as it regards to playing cards. He presents an outstanding mentalism routine with cards that can be done with a borrowed deck of cards. There are some very basic sleights involved, but it's quite powerful. Another mentalism related column is by by Wayne Kawamoto in which he reviews Barrie Richardson's DVD set and Wayne Dobson's new set. Wayne Dobson is not known for being a mentalist, but he's created some pretty good mentalism effects and props, a few of which are on the set. The rest of the contents of this disc are the expected variety and includes coin magic, kid magic, card magic, the spotlight on Kostya Kimlat, etc. These "episodes," as they call it, are a lot of fun.
