THE BLURB:
Someone draws a picture of (any) playing card and that
actual card is found to be inside an envelope which has been
in plain sight the entire time.

The freely thought of card is actually in the envelope and
there is absolutely NO SWITCH:

* They can think of any card from a deck of 52,
including the Joker. There is NO FORCE.
* They can change their mind, right up to the point
where they sign the picture.
* The "prediction" envelope is in plain sight BEFORE the
effect begins.
* The handling is super clean. There are no suspicious
moves.
* The card is seen inside the envelope right before it
is POURED DIRECTLY INTO THEIR HAND.

Comes complete with 3-ring binder, note pad, marker,
Revelation envelope, and 8 page, full color,
photo-illustrated instruction booklet.

MY COMMENTS:
Dean Dill always comes up with classy material. He's not
known for being a mentalist, but his A New World (co-created
with Michael Weber) is a standout version of Paul Curry's
Out of the World.

Now, he turns his eye to an incredible prediction. It's
incredibly clean. One card is drawn on a pad. And that
card is found to be in an envelope that's been in plain
sight the whole time and before the effect began.

Yes, you could do this with a standard mentalist's wallet
(or envelope) and a classic move found in Jay Sankey's
Paper-Clipped. That certainly would save you lots of money.
However, the difference is that this effect uses NO actual
playing cards other than one that's in the envelope.
There's only one card in play that the audience sees and
that card is shown only at the end.

And, yes, you could also use instead of the Sankey idea, a
gimmick(s) that is hidden in your pocket that allows you to
accomplish the same thing (it has five letters). This
version frees up pocket space as everything you need is
contained within the notebook, pad, and envelope.

The point is that, though the plot is not new and that there
are many ways to accomplish this very direct effect, Dean
has added some touches that make this very interesting. The
price, so to speak, is that you must have the 3-ring binder
and notepad. But there are no sleights or difficult moves.
The one "move" you must do is a very natural looking move
that should not be suspect at all, if you do it correctly.

Because of the need for the notebook, this effect is not
recommended for table-hopping, but it can be repeated as
there are no forces or limitations of any kind. Any of the
52 cards can be a possibility. It can be done surrounded
and is probably perfect for that one effect that you have to
do to impress someone.

Besides all the material you'll need to perform this, you
can get an 8-page illustration booklet that has 8 page 5.5"
x 8.5" booklet with color photographs. Yep, I said 8 pages.
It's that easy to explain and that easy to do.

I'm certainly not going to say that this belongs in every
mentalist's collection, because as I wrote above there are
plenty of methods to accomplish the same effect. But if you
can use this, you'll get an effect that delivers what you
expect and it will probably be worth much more to you.
Also, when you see the construction of the props, you'll
understand why the price is what it is.

One last thing. These are only available in limited
quantities and there is a chance that by the time you read
this, they may not be available anymore (or at least not for
awhile).
