Two crystals- are freely chosen by your spectator out of a
group of five. They hide one stone in their left hand and
one in their right. This is a completely free choice. There
are no gimmicks and the performer's back is honestly turned
throughout the selection and hiding process. After you turn
your back you will know which stone is and in which hand,
also you will be able to give a perfect reading in base of
which stones are choosen related also in which hand are
concealed.
MY COMMENTS:
This is another which-hand routine, though this one is not
as comprehensive or detailed as Patrick Redford's
PREVARICATOR or Jerome Finley's THOUGHT CHANNEL volumes.
But, then, it's not supposed to be.
This is an 8 page PDF that details Luca Volpe's take on
this. There are some very nice unique touches that Volpe
has included and part of this includes a reading based on
the colors of the chosen stones. Like the aforementioned
works by Redford and Finley, this routine can be entirely
impromptu (assuming you have the stones with you, although
the working performer could, and should know how to,
substitute other things, such as coins).
I should point out, though, that also like the works by
Redford and Finley, the material may not be something that
you do right out of the box. If you're familiar with the
other referenced material, it will certainly be easier to
pick up, but it will still take a bit of a knack. This
is not to say that it's difficult, because it's not, but
it does take practice.
If you do not have PREVARICATOR or THOUGHT CHANNEL, this is
an excellent place to start. And, if you do have these
works, Volpe has some unique enhancements that are worth
checking out. Of course, at the price he's currently
asking, it's generously inexpensive, a steal, and a
no-brainer purchase for those interested in this type of
effect. Definitely recommended.
