MY COMMENTS:
Mentalism Inc Volume One and Two are considered classic
mentalism texts. Now, Chuck takes one of his signature
routines, the one involving books (I hesitate to call it a
book test), and details it much more so than he did
previously so that you understand how every detail and
subtlety of his routine works.
But that's not all. Chuck gives valuable advice on making
telepathy believable and fun, selecting participants, giving
lucid directions, the use of props, and more. The book is
divided into four parts. The part is The Script. The
second is Four Presentational Concepts. These are four
invaluable concepts that really help to sell this routine
and can applied to most other routines, as well. The third
section is Methods for the Revelations which delves into the
mechanics of the routine along with brilliant insights. The
final section contains four bonus essays on various topics
that are also quite insightful and incredibly useful. In
short, this is a must-have for anyone starting out in mentalism
and a highly recommended work for anyone who owns
Chuck's other two books.
