MY COMMENTS:
I really didn't think anything new could be added to the
world of numerology, but Iain Dunford has incredibly done
just that. This book explains a new way to look at numbers.
Instead of memorizing meanings, Dunford treats each number
sort of like a Rorschach test and lets the reader interpret
each number visually. Dunford's interpretations are
included, but it's quite clear that one doesn't have to use
those.
My only criticism towards this is that I wish Dunford had
included interpretations that linked with standard
numerological meanings. However, his intention was to
create a standalone method and he has done just that. If
one wants to link the standard meanings with their visual
interpretations, this idea is versatile enough that one can
do it.
This approach to numerology reminds me a great deal of
Enrique Enriquez' approach to the Tarot in his INVISIBLE
TAROT. Like that, THOUGHT-PATHS is much more of an
intuitive reading than one that requires the reader to do a
lot of memorization. In many ways, it's simpler than the
way most numerology is done. I should also point out that,
since no paper or pencil is needed for this, performers
could use, too, to do some cold reading during the show.
This is a perfect-bound, 70 page, 4" x 7" (approx.) book.
There's lots of white space and font is large. I point this
out only to say that there's not much text needed to explain
this. As I said, it's simpler than most methods, but just
as powerful. For the reader especially, even for those who
know numerology, as well as performers, this is highly
recommended.
