THE BLURB:
The HIT of the BLACKPOOL magic convention 2010 J B Magic are proud to be working along side Aaron, we bring to you a rare piece of card magic. If you are looking for Direct, Powerful, Visual magic then look no further, Twisted Blizzard is for you. Imagine asking a spectator to simply NAME ANY CARD in the deck. Then spreading the deck, there is only ONE CARD in the entire deck, the NAMED CARD. Every other card is BLANK. NO FORCING, NO SPECIAL WORDING, NO DECK SWITCHES, NO ROUGH & SMOOTH NO DOUBLE FACED CARDS, NO DOUBLED BACKED CARDS. Twisted Blizzard is without doubt a giant leap forward in card magic, this reputation building effect can be learned in just 10 minutes. The custom printed Bicycle deck performs 95% of all the work for you. Twisted Blizzard comes with a step by step training DVD, with a bonus effect called WHITE TRASH. This is without doubt one of the greatest Out Of This World routines I have ever seen. 3 piles are decided by the spectators. A RED pile, a BLACK pile and a NOT SURE PILE. The piles turn out to be all Red all Black and the not sure pile are all BLANK. Twisted Blizzard ticks ALL the boxes in card magic, it is both Visual and Direct, Easy to do and is Instantly Reset. We highly recommend Twisted Blizzard. "I love it!, Its like Blizzard, but self working" Nathan Kranzo "The flexibility of this weapon would have made Bob Hummer hum and even make him finally wear socks." Jon Racherbaumer "The time I saw it, I peed a little" Geoff Williams. "Both routines are real foolers, as well as extremely practical exactly what great magic should be". Scott Robinson. "This fried me big time. Excellent work Aaron." Caleb Wiles. MY COMMENTS: This is a truly stunning trick, but whether it borders on mental magic depends on your presentation or your definition of the term. What's clear is that if you don't like mentalism with playing cards or you don't like using a "custom printed Bicycle deck," then this isn't for you. Stop reading now. Thanks for reading this far. For those that this still appeals to, this deck will allow you to do a very strong versions of Dean Dill's classic BLIZZARD and the classic Out of This World. In the Blizzard version, one card that is named becomes the only card in the deck and the rest are blank face cards. In Dean Dill's original, there are some bold moves and a little pocket management that this version does not have. On the other hand, at the finish of the original version, the participants can examine the card. In this one, they can not. That's the trade-off. The other effect which is included is White Trash. You may have seen it on YouTube. This is a three-way Out of This World. It begins with the familiar regular red and black card scenario with two participant, each one choosing whether the card is red or black. The kicker is that at the finish the unused cards are shown to be blanks. As with the other routine mentioned, the cards cannot be examined. The big consideration for this effect is that you must have good audience management, because you cannot let the participants grab for the cards. Again, the trade-off is that you get White Trash, a great version of Out of this World, and you have a very direct presentation of BLIZZARD. You must also consider that this not the only versions of these effects and whether this one is for you. For the record, the original BLIZZARD and the original OUT OF THIS WORLD work just fine. And there are good variations of each (such as Anthony Miller's COLOSSAL BLIZZARD). But, if you don't mind using such props, this is a utility deck which will allow for strong, visual, and direct versions of these classics. The package includes the deck and a CD-Rom with video instructions and demonstrations on it.
