MY COMMENTS:
Though there's nothing new in terms of technique or
principles, Looch has put together some very strong,
practical, and useable routines that I found refreshingly
effective for the working professional. Many of these
routines use playing cards or some other type of cards and I
know that's a turnoff for some. Also, all of the routines
are for close-up or parlour because they involve some type
of cards, however a few can be adapted to the stage.

Some of the effects that I particularly like include
"Psycolorgy" which uses different colored cards. "The
Collector" involves cards with drawings on them which are
freely chosen and duplicated by the performer. "Intuitive
aiii" is a card effect that demonstrates card memory. "Wake
Up Dr. Rhine" is a very strong ESP card routine which uses
one bold move to accomplish most of the routine. "The
Hustler" uses a classic control technique to predict the
outcome of a game of pool. This is just a sampling.

What each of these routines have in common is that Looch has
constructed each into a very strong routine with a
beginning, middle, and strong finish. Each routine has two
or more phases and each builds to a logical end. Looch
certainly demonstrates that he has the skill to put together
a solid routine and that's another strong reason to get
this.

This 2-disc set also includes explanations with an assist by
Marc Spelmann and Peter Nardi. The fact that these strong
routines play close-up and that most involve cards of some
sort is certainly a consideration in your purchasing
decision. If that's your cup of tea, then you definitely
